Location:  Coldwater, MI
Compensation: Starting wage is $21.65 per hour 
Schedule:  1st, 2nd and 3rd Shift, Monday-Friday. Must be flexible and available to work holidays and weekends as needed.

Position Summary: 
As a Distribution Worker at Aunt Millie's Bakeries Warehouse, you will play a vital role in the efficient operation of the distribution center. Responsibilities include accurately picking, packing, and loading bakery products for shipment, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. You will collaborate closely with team members to meet shipping schedules and maintain a well-organized warehouse environment. The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting. 

 
Essential Job Functions: 

• Accurately pick, pack, and load bakery products for shipment, following established procedures and quality standards. 
• Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move and handle products as needed. 
• Conduct thorough inspections of products for quality and integrity, reporting any issues or discrepancies to supervisors. 
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment, including sweeping, organizing shelves, and disposing of waste materials. 
• Collaborate with team members to meet shipping schedules and ensure timely delivery of products to customers. 
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding inventory levels, product shortages, and any operational issues. 
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. 
• Participate in training programs and ongoing learning opportunities to enhance job knowledge and skills. 
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisors to support the distribution center's overall operations. 

Minimum Position Qualifications/Education: 

• Available to work flexible schedules, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, with varying weekly schedules. 
• Demonstrates a consistent and verifiable work history with minimal or no gaps in employment. 
• Previous experience in food or baking production is advantageous. 
• Capable of lifting and moving up to 50 lbs. safely and efficiently. 
• Exhibits punctuality and self-discipline in adhering to work schedules and responsibilities.
