Job Details

The Regional DC Manager will oversee all aspects of a large-scale retail distribution center operation, including safety, productivity, labor planning, operational performance, quality, budget ownership, and team leadership.
This leader will be responsible for driving operational excellence across a complex, multi-shift environment while partnering cross-functionally with Human Resources, Safety, Engineering, Continuous Improvement, Transportation, and executive leadership teams.
This role requires a highly analytical and people-focused leader who can successfully lead through change, build strong operational culture, improve retention, and create accountability at all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead all day-to-day operations within a high-volume distribution center supporting retail store operations
  • Own operational performance across labor, productivity, quality, safety, and service metrics
  • Manage large-scale salaried and hourly teams across multiple shifts and leadership layers
  • Drive employee engagement, leadership development, retention, and culture initiatives
  • Partner with internal teams including HR, Safety, Engineering, Transportation, and Finance
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational optimization and efficiency
  • Oversee budget planning, labor forecasting, transportation costs, and facility operations
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, operational procedures, and company expectations
  • Lead operational strategy and execution in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of distribution center or supply chain operations leadership experience
  • 2-3 years of General Manager or equivalent large-scale site leadership experience preferred
  • Background within retail distribution, store replenishment, or consumer-focused supply chain operations required
  • Experience leading large multi-shift operations with significant headcount responsibility
  • Strong experience managing operational KPIs, labor planning, budgeting, and P&L performance
  • Proven success improving culture, retention, and operational performance within complex environments
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven operational decisions
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); implementation or rollout experience highly preferred
  • Lean Six Sigma, continuous improvement, or operational optimization experience is a plus
  • Strong communication, leadership, and cross-functional partnership skills
