Required Skills:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Basic computer literacy with the ability to quickly learn new software applications
- Strong organizational and inventory management skills
- Ability to accurately enter data and follow detailed instructions
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Prior experience in Central Supply or the medical field (preferred, not mandatory)
- Must be able to obtain fingerprinting clearance as required by the State of New Mexico
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly EPIC
- Knowledge of medical equipment operation, decontamination, and maintenance
- Familiarity with OSHA PPE protocols and safety procedures
- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- At least 6 months of experience in Central Supply, medical logistics, or related healthcare roles
Other Requirements:
- Onsite, full-time schedule (Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM; potential shift adjustment to 2:00 PM 10:30 PM)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Willingness to undergo fingerprinting and background checks
- Uniform provided; dress code is business casual or scrubs
