Job Summary:
The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to performing activities necessary to support the receipt, replenishment and general handling of goods and materials while maintaining inventory accuracy within the Coopervision Distribution Center. Close supervision required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Basic course work in mathematics, data processing and business or equivalent training
and/or experience.
- PC Skills
- Forklift/ man-up/RF experience preferred.Ability to perform basic mathematics accurately on a regular basis.
- 6 months experience (or reasonable equivalent) with physical inventories and/or cycle
counting preferred.
- 6 months experience (or reasonable equivalent) in a receiving environment.
- Former experience with RF technology.
- Former licensing on industrial lifts preferred.
Work Environment:
- Normal warehouse conditions included noisy, dusty, hot or humid conditions, working near moving mechanical parts and some exposure to extreme seasonal temperatures.
Physical Demands
- The physical demands of this role could require extended periods of standing and walking, frequent use of fine motor skills and coordination, and regular movements such as bending, crouching, and kneeling. It also involves occasional lifting up to 45 lbs., pushing/pulling, and limited sitting, climbing, or equipment operation.
For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is $19.00 per hour and may include cost of living adjustments. The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.

Essential Functions & Accountabilities
- Performs receipt process activities of both finished goods and silver stock lenses and consumables/packaging materials.
- Participates in cycle counts of finished goods, silver stock and consumables/packaging materials as necessary.
- Performs activities in support of finished goods picking location replenishment to ensure product availability.
- Performs activities in support of the put-away of received finished goods, silver stock lenses and consumables/packaging materials.
- Organizes/Maintains picking locations to ensure proper FIFO requirements.
- Performs materials handling activities to include but not limited to the delivery of various goods and materials to ensure inter-departmental request/needs are fulfilled as necessary.
- Receives and delivers incoming U.S. mail as well as packages from various shippers etc. throughout the DC.
- Loads/unloads trailers or containers as necessary.
- Maintains and supports organization of the inbound dock area as well as storage racking area.
General Job Requirements:
- Works scheduled holidays in order to maintain service levels for customers.
- As business needs dictates, works extended hours to complete daily department goals or tasks to include mandatory Saturdays.
- Works scheduled hours and is ready to work at scheduled start times, notifies Supervisor prior to absence or tardiness in accordance with company policy.
- Immediately informs Coordinator/Supervisor/Manager of safety, sanitation, and equipment malfunctions and concerns regarding quality issues.
- Exhibits good communication skills - verbal, written, and comprehension of the English language.
- Adhered to Standard Operating Procedures and Regulatory requirements
