Job Summary


Takes a lead role in overseeing work performed by contractor's on AEP electrical facilities. Provides leadership and support as needed within the Contract Coordination Group.


Job Description


WHAT YOU'LL DO:


+ Provide leadership support to assist the Contract Coordination Supervisor with job coordination/planning, safety, crew critique, employee development, or other tasks as needed.

+ Inspect and accept or reject contractor work for compliance to safety, design and construction standards and construction quality.

+ Assure contracted construction projects flow smoothly.

+ Resolve customer's concerns associated with work performed by contractors.

+ Document construction events to protect AEP's interest from future claims.

+ Assure contractor invoices are accurate, complete and reasonable.

+ Provide feedback concerning contractor performance to Contract Administration for use in future contracting activities.

+ Certify acceptability of contractor's work for invoice approval and payment.

+ Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:


Education requirements are listed below: High school diploma or GE D.


Work Experience requirement listed below: Thorough knowledge of distribution work processes, procedures and safety standards. Five years' of experience in related distribution field.


Required License(s)/Certification(s) are listed below: Valid driver's license and acceptable driving safety record
