COBRA SOUTHEAST is seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Dispatch & Operations Coordinator to join our team. This role is the heartbeat of our daily operations, ensuring our crews, equipment, and projects move with precision. You will be transitioning these responsibilities from our Operations Manager, taking full ownership of our scheduling ecosystem.
The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment, possesses strong technical aptitude, and can master the logistics of heavy construction workflows.
Key Responsibilities
• Project & Dispatch Management: Primarily responsible for answering incoming calls and managing the full lifecycle of projects within our dispatch platform (100% Computer & Cell Phone Based Dispatching).
• Logistics & Scheduling: Develop a deep understanding of our specialized lineups, equipment capabilities, and individual operator skill sets to ensure the right assets are assigned to every job.
• Operational Intelligence: Learn our fleet and the specific time requirements for various scopes of work to optimize daily and weekly schedules.
• Administrative Support: Manage essential documentation, including scanning, filing, and digital organization of project records.
• Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between clients and field operations, ensuring clear and professional coordination.
Qualifications & Skills
• Computer Proficiency: Must be highly proficient with computers and capable of quickly mastering specialized industry software.
• Analytical Thinking: Ability to understand complex logistics, equipment specs, and labor variables.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for managing high-volume calls and internal coordination.
• Adaptability: Comfortable in an industrial construction environment where schedules and requirements can shift rapidly.
• Experience: Prior experience in dispatching, construction logistics, or heavy equipment coordination is preferred but not required for a candidate with the right aptitude.
Work Schedule & Compensation
• Status: Salaried Position.
• Commitment: Standard 50-hour work weeks.
