Job Description:
Provides effective leadership and direction for hospital-based programs. Supports in the development of financial planning, recruitment, hiring, training, promotion, and discipline of staff. Develops goals and objectives, analyzes records and data, and creates effective staffing strategies. Manages standard operating procedures and quality performance improvement initiatives to ensure effective service provision. Represents the department at hospital leadership functions, community functions, meetings, and activities that promote the facility's mission. Oversees staff development through coaching, mentoring, instructing, assisting, and disciplining. Reviews and corrects patient care reports, billing reports, and other required documentation. Other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must have Knowledge in operation of emergency and non-emergency Emergency Medical Services [Required]
Ability to maintain a professional and calm presence under the most critical situations [Required]
Ability to operate a motor vehicle in a safe and professional manner [Required]
Emergency vehicle operations [Preferred]

Must possess exceptional customer relations skills [Required]

Education:

5+ years experience in ambulance services [Required]
1+year management/leadership experience [Preferred}
