Overview

We are seeking a Dispatcher / Routing Coordinator for a 12-month contract starting immediately. This role is responsible for coordinating product deliveries and equipment returns, routing trucks efficiently, maintaining shipping documentation, updating systems, and providing customer service while supporting daily dispatch operations in a fast-paced office environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate product deliveries to customers and the return of used equipment.
• Route trucks efficiently to balance workload and shipping costs.
• Update delivery systems with shipping information and maintain accurate records.
• Prepare bills of lading, trip sheets, and shipping paperwork.
• Process Oracle updates, ship confirm orders, and update CC/DFF notes.
• Send delivery notifications and next-day delivery schedules via email.
• Monitor open orders and close reports as required.
• Pre-call customers when needed and provide truck ETAs.
• Schedule or reschedule truck routes based on operational changes.
• Request certificates of insurance and process service calls.
• Provide time frame authorizations and assist with third-party carrier coordination.
• Respond to customer inquiries and direct requests to the appropriate team.
• Support the Senior Dispatcher and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service, dispatch, logistics, or truck routing experience.
• Experience working with Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Outlook.
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Basic PC, data entry, 10-key, reading, writing, and math skills.
• Experience with Oracle, Descartes, or Kofax is preferred.
• Ability to work independently in an office environment.
• Ability to perform light physical activities, including walking, standing, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 10 lbs.
• Available to work an 8-hour shift between 7:00 AM and 4:30 PM with an optional 30-minute lunch.
• Business casual dress code (jeans permitted if not ripped).
