Schedule: Part-time | 24 hours/pay period | 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on weekdays | includes every other weekend and holiday (mixed day shifts)
Pay Range: $15.10 - $17/hour (non-exempt), based on experience, qualifications, and location.

As a Dishwasher, you play an essential role in keeping our kitchen and dining spaces clean, safe, and running smoothly. Your attention to detail, efficiency, and teamwork will help create a welcoming environment for residents, guests, and staff. By maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, you’ll directly contribute to the quality and enjoyment of every meal served at Vivie.
As a Dishwasher, you will:
- Ensure Clean and Organized Kitchen Operations – Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans while ensuring all items are properly sanitized and stored.
- Safely Operate Dishwashing Equipment – Follow safety procedures for dishwashing machines, monitor water temperature, and notify the supervisor of equipment concerns.
- Maintain Sanitation and Food Safety Standards – Properly handle and discard leftover food, empty trash containers, and uphold infection control guidelines.
- Stock and Organize Supplies – Assist with restocking food and non-food items to support kitchen operations.
- Support Kitchen Team – Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a smooth, efficient, and positive kitchen environment.
- Other Duties as Assigned – The duties and responsibilities listed above are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive
This job also requires:
- Current high school student, high school diploma, or equivalent required.
- Previous kitchen experience preferred but not required.
- Energetic, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to pass state mandated background check.
- Physical capability to perform all essential job functions.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English to ensure effective communication with staff, residents, and visitors.
