Departmental Objective

In support of Christopher Newport University's mission, the mission of CNU Dining Services is to provide CNU students with the highest quality in food and dining experiences. Purpose of the Position

This position will ensure the serving area is supplied with clean, sanitized china and serviceware. This position also ensures that the dish room is operated in accordance with departmental and regulatory standards. This position will be required to work flexible schedule, including nights (until 10pm), weekends, and some holidays

• Ability to work in congested work areas and areas where wet processes are used
• Ability to wear protective footwear (position will be exposed to slippery footing)
• Candidate must be able to work Sunday - Thursday 12p - 9:30p

Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification Required

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent education/experience that equates to a high school diploma

Experience:

• Experience as a dishwasher
• Supervisory experience

Additional Consideration(s)

• ServSafe certified or equivalent food handler program

Experience:

• Experience in a high-volume kitchen in an educational or institutional setting

Salary Information Salary $32,672 to $40,846 commensurate with education and experience CNU Information
