About the role
Joining our Supported Independent Living (SIL) team on a permanent part time basis in Highett, you will support people with disability to live their best lives in shared housing or in their own home, providing various supports including personal care and daily living.
The people you will be supporting are highly independent, love a chat, a coffee and regularly accessing the community and so are after a high energy, experienced disability support worker who is passionate about getting involved in active support. The successful candidate will be bilingual in Cantonese and English.
The successful candidate will also have experience working with behaviours of concern and behaviour support plans and must be able to commit to the set roster line below.
You must be able to commit to the set permanent part time roster below which includes sleepover shifts. Roster Split is 52:00/50:30.
Note, this is a set roster in line with the needs of the people being supported and so cannot be altered.

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including a National Criminal History Record Check and an International Criminal History Record Check; if you have resided for 12 months or more outside of Australia in the last 10 years.
