Roles & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will provide Engineering support for a large on-premise Active Directory (AD) environment.
This involves all aspects Testing and Engineering for AD
(Domain Creation, Group Policy Management, Security Enhancements and Testing, etc),
as well as Testing and Engineering for AD Support Infrastructures
(ex. Backup and Restore, Privileged Access Workstations, AD Security Monitoring, etc).
Primary Tasks
Project Efforts
Work with other Engineering and Operations teams to complete large projects
Represent AD Engineering in cross-organizational efforts
M anage full Engineering lifecycle for AD Enhancement efforts
Review application interactivity with Active Directory in a lab context prior to release to UAT and Production environments
Assist application managers with establishing AD connectivity
Ensure applications do not negatively impact AD functionality
Lab Management
Assist with managing Lab Server fleet to required standards
Perform post-patching checkouts to ensure no negative impacts prior to promotion to UAT
Respond to user issues with logons, passwords, lockouts, etc
Respond to user requests for Groups, OUs, Users, etc
