Qualifications and Possible Job Duties Include:
- High School Diploma; experience as a department-level secretary or administrative assistant for a minimum of 3 years is preferred
- High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel and Google Docs
- Demonstrates ability to work accurately and efficiently with detailed work assignments and multiple tasks; understands rules of confidentiality and professional conduct
- Displays flexibility, reliability, self-discipline and a willingness to take on challenging tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Provides secretarial support to the Early Learning and Student Services/Wellness departments; responsible for daily functions within the departments
- Assists director with oversight of department budget; works with vendors to gather quotes; produces PO''s for the Early Learning and Student Services/Wellness offices; coordinates payment with the treasurer''s office; tracks expenditures
- Coordinates event/meeting planning for the department; books rooms; communicates with event/meeting attendees
- Prepare conference or event materials, such as flyers or invitations; uses Constant Contact
- Assists with various planning committees as assigned
- Responsible for the set up and cleanup of meeting rooms for department events/meetings
- Other qualifications as determined by the Superintendent
- All other duties as assigned
Salary schedule placement commensurate with training and experience.
