## Role summary
The Director Walmart Energy - Regulatory provides strategic leadership to manage utility risks and advance an affordable, reliable, and clean energy system through regulatory and legislative engagement. This practice-leading role involves analyzing business objectives and regulatory proposals to develop and execute advocacy, submitting written testimony, and being subject to cross-examination. It also involves managing a team and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations. The position requires collaboration with internal teams and external agencies. The Director also leads workforce development initiatives and fosters continuous improvement to advance Walmarts energy and sustainability goals while maintaining operational excellence and integrity.

The Utility Partnerships Regulatory team collaborates with utilities regulators and lawmakers to manage utility risks and advance an affordable, reliable, and clean energy system. The team develops business-enabling rules and rates, supports on-site and off-site clean generation, and creates utility products and services to maintain competitive markets. Working cross-functionally and with external partners, the team drives energy management programs and regulatory compliance aligned with Walmarts operational goals. Upholding high standards of integrity and accountability, the team plays a key role in advancing sustainable energy initiatives and regulatory strategies.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sams Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Stock.
