About the Role:

Responsible for driving HUSA Operations measures of success as they relate to the day-to-day operations for HUSA Transportation. Lead end-to-end logistics initiatives and supply chain performance, including vendor performance, in which they will work closely with our vendors to ensure our safety, service, cost, and sustainability goals are met. Collaborate cross-functionally with colleagues inside the HUSA Operations group as the Transportation subject matter expert who leads project teams to drive industry-leading, market-competitive performance. Manage and optimize over 40,000 annual shipments while driving SLA compliance to enable daily sales & operations execution success.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management:

  • Lead the execution of the Inland Transportation strategy.• Responsible for end-to-end Logistics Supply Chain performance and daily execution excellence.
  • Lead vendor-facing strategic review meetings to promote safety, service, quality, cost, and sustainability while advancing continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders across Operations, Customer Supply Chain, Planning, Quality, Procurement, Finance, and D&T departments.
  • Anticipate and manage capacity constraints, operational challenges, and regulatory compliance.
  • Effectively communicate relevant risks and opportunities proactively across HUSA Operations.• Responsible for developing and maintaining Logistics SOPs, process mapping, and best practices.
  • Support Senior Director of Logistics in delivering targets and multi-year strategic glidepath.
  • Bring the outside in by sharing Transportation market trends.

Distributor Support:

  • Drive initiatives to provide premium, segmented service to our top distributors.
  • Liaise with Distributors as escalation point on logistics coordination and gap analysis.
  • Collaborate with Distributors through continuous improvement initiatives and business reviews in partnership with Customer Service and Sales to drive customer satisfaction.
  • Support the Customer Value Pillar, leading cost-to-serve and service improvement initiatives.

Vendor Management:

  • Own vendor relationship to elevate Transportation Logistics Service Partner (LSP) maturity.• Responsibile for vendor KPI performance and conformance to contract SLA standards across carriers, transportation managed services, and fuel management providers.
  • Manage vendor communications and coordinate a regular drumbeat of weekly reviews and QBRs including joint improvement plans.
  • Apply Heineken global best practices are being utilized throughout all areas of the operation.
  • Maintain a record of open issues, hold vendors accountable for resolution, and recognize good performance.

Sustainability Strategy:

  • Evaluate current logistics processes to identify areas for improvement in logistic carbon footprint.
  • Collaborate with vendors, customers, and internal teams to promote sustainable practices.
  • Ensure tracking against EverGreen emissions reduction goals related to logistics operations.
  • Establish pipeline of sustainability initiative implementation, budgeting, and impact tracking.

Project Management:

  • Lead Logistics projects and is the subject-matter expert (SME) to support other functional projects.• Lead operational execution of supply chain network changes OTIF.
  • Hold self and project teams accountable for deliverables and execution to project goals.
  • Clearly identify the problem statement, scope, criteria for success and methodology to utilize.
  • Leverage and lead through TPM continuous improvement methods: RFCA, 5-why, Ishikawa, Kaizen, Business Process Optimization, Value Stream Mapping, Skills Matrix.

Basic Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-8+ year's Logistics experience, preferably within Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or Alcohol Beverage Industry
  • Proven track record in KPI management through effective continuous improvement.
  • Strong network analysis skills to interpret complex data and deliver actionable insights.
  • Project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to lead, influence, and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in ERP systems (SAP) and data analytics tools (e.g. Power BI).
  • Technical proficiency in Transportation Management Systems (e.g. OTM).
  • Strong financial acumen, data savviness, and ability to manage up.
  • Change catalyst with a curiosity to explore new technologies.
  • Travel 10%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of end-to-end Logistics Operations, including but not limited to Ocean, Road Transportation, Rail, Customs, Warehousing, and Return Logistics.
  • Certification in supply chain management or logistics (e.g., APICS, CSCMP) is a plus.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
  • Technical proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Familiarity with sustainable logistics standards and regulations.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary Range: $165,000 - $180,000 + Annual Bonus
