During the Fall, Spring, and Summer academic semesters, the instructor will dedicate approximately 20 hours per week to teaching undergraduate or graduate courses within the CFAS Department and approximately 20 hours per week supporting the clinical teaching and administrative functions of the Texas Tech University Family Therapy Clinic (FTC). Responsibilities may include:
Earned doctorate in Couple, Marriage, and Family Therapy or closely related field. AAMFT Approved Supervisor or AAMFT Approved Supervisor Candidate status. Minimum of two years of college-level teaching experience, preferably at the graduate level. Experience with administrative operations of a community mental health clinic, university training clinic, or similar clinical setting. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, clinical documentation procedures, and AAMFT ethical guidelines. Demonstrated capacity to support graduate student clinical development and work effectively with students, faculty, staff, and community partners. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Experience utilizing electronic patient management systems, scheduling systems, or clinical databases.
