Responsibilities
Directs an organization's overall supply chain operations for a facility or multiple facilities, including purchasing, inventory and distribution of supplies and equipment.
Responsible for the financial performance, including the evaluation of spend to established targets, including contract compliance, budget, forecast etc.
Develops strategic plans to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.
Ensures that issues regarding existing and new products are resolved in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
Reports to the CFO of the Hospital with an indirect reporting relationship to the Regional Supply Chain Leader.
Performs a variety of tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Required
Education: Bachelor’s degree
Experience: 6 years Supply Chain experience in lieu of degree
Preferred
Certification / License: Certified Materials and Resources Professional (CMRP)

Build relationships with peers and administrative leadership. Participate on various committees and meetings. Leads and directs the work of others. Reports to the CFO of the Hospital with an indirect reporting relationship to the Regional Supply Chain Leader. Performs a variety of tasks as assigned.

Hospital information:
• 50 beds hospital, opened Nov 10
• ADC sitting in mid 20s, Joint Venture with BSA
• Brand new hospital, prefers the candidate have hospital experience (big learning curve for health care financials vs non).
• 2 direct reports (AP/Payroll Specialist and Central Supply), prefer managerial experience. At least 2 years, managing smaller teams.
• Lots of regional support and input.
• In office position (8a-5p, NO REMOTE).
• Controller will be involved with patient rounding, finance and hospital operations
• Leadership team is laid back, high expectations of standards, professional. But it’s a fun atmosphere and with good balance of work and life
• Each leader is expected to participate in Administrator on call in case of emergency
