Job Description:
The Director of Student Leadership and Strategic Partnerships in the Neidorff School of Business (Neidorff) is a senior administrative professional responsible for leading the Neidorff Scholars Program and advancing strategic partnerships with corporate, nonprofit, alumni, and regional stakeholders.
This role serves as a student-facing central connector across the School of Business, cultivating experiential learning opportunities including site visits, consulting projects, co-ops, internships, and mentoring programs. The Director collaborates closely with faculty, deans, and campus partners to ensure high-impact, practice-oriented learning experiences that enhance student success, career readiness, and community engagement.
This position requires strategic relationship management, program leadership, and cross-functional collaboration appropriate to a mid-level professional role in the San Antonio higher education market.
JOB DUTIES
Leadership of Neidorff Scholar Program
Corporate and Industry Partnerships
Serve as Neidorff's primary liaison with regional, national, and international firms in support of curricular and co-curricular activities.
In collaboration with CELCS staff and the Director of Corporate Relations, develop and sustain partnerships that generate:
Student site visits,
Corporate-sponsored consulting projects,
Co-op and internship placements,
Executive mentoring relationships, and
Class and student club guest lecturers.
Coordinate student professional development activities in partnership with CELCS.
Represent Neidorff at industry events and community forums.
Maintain CRM or tracking systems for employer relationships, experiential placements, internships and post-graduate outcomes for AACSB reporting.
Community-Engaged Learning & Nonprofit Partnerships
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with faculty to embed experiential learning opportunities within curricula.
Partner with the Dean's Office on strategic initiatives and donor-supported programs.
Work closely with:
CELCS leadership on internships and employer development,
Alumni Relations on mentoring and engagement, and
Center for International Education on global site visits and international experiential learning.
Contribute to college-wide strategic planning and student success initiatives.

EDUCATION
Required:
Bachelor's degree in business, higher education administration, or related field.
Preferred:
Master's degree in business, higher education administration, or related field.
EXPERIENCE
Required:
5 years of professional experience in higher education administration, corporate relations, nonprofit management, business development, or career development.
Preferred:
7 years of professional experience in higher education administration, corporate relations, nonprofit management, business development, or career development.
