Growing Food Manufacturer is hiring for a Director Strategic Initiatives and Execution (Project Leadership) in their Central NJ Office!
The Director, Strategic Initiatives and Execution is accountable for four primary outcomes:
Run the Companys System
- Own the weekly Executive Leadership Team meeting rhythm: agendas, pre-reads, decisions, action logs, and follow-through
- Maintain the company OKR and KPI process
- Work with leadership team members to set, update, and track OKRs and a focused set of critical KPIs
- Support the CEO and CFO in preparing and running:
- Monthly period-close reviews
- Quarterly business reviews
- Company town halls
- Ensure decisions made in these forums translate into clear action, ownership, and follow-through
Lead PMO for major enterprise priorities
- Lead and act as the PMO for the Organization for major enterprise initiatives including Stage Gate Process, the Division integration, etc. ensuring prioritization, execution and allocation of resources.
- Define milestones, governance, dependencies, and risks across work streams
- Provide strong project management discipline across three to five additional enterprise priorities
- Maintain the single source of truth for major initiatives: owners, timing, status, risks, and expected financial or operational impact
- Coordinate effectively with internal teams and external partners, including consultants and vendors
- Escalate issues cleanly and early when needed
Drive Board and executive preparation
- Partner with the CFO and Finance team to tie initiative tracking back to the P&L, EBITDA story, and Board narrative
- Coordinate inputs into Board materials and executive reviews across functions
- Build and maintain a small set of recurring CEO and Board dashboards
- Standardize how information is presented: concise, clear, analytical, decision-useful, not bloated
- Improve the quality and consistency of preparation across the leadership team
Enable Executive Leadership Team effectiveness
- Improve meeting quality, decision making, and accountability across the team
- Help create cleaner prioritization and stronger cross-functional handoffs
- Reduce noise, rework, and lack of clarity in enterprise execution
- Bring issues forward with context, analysis, options, and recommended next steps

Required Experience:
- 5-7 years total experience, with strong exposure to operating complexity and senior leadership.
- 3+ years of experience with a consulting firm, or Internal Strategy/PMO experience.
- Exposure to CPG, food, manufacturing, or distribution is a plus.
Comp Range is up $150k - $185k base (dependent upon experience), 20% base and Benefits!
