Location: Onsite/Kohler, WI
The Director of Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) is responsible for leading and continuously improving the company's end-to-end SIOP process to align demand, supply, inventory, and financial objectives. This role acts as the enterprise integrator, ensuring cross-functional alignment between Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Executive Leadership to drive service excellence, inventory optimization, and profitable growth.
This leader owns the monthly SIOP cadence, enables data-driven decision-making, and ensures the organization operates with a single, aligned plan.
Specific Responsibilities:
Lead global demand planning, forecasting, and SIOP (Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning) to support accurate production scheduling and inventory optimization collaborating with commercial teams to align customer demand with operational capabilities.
Facilitate cross‑functional reviews (Demand, Supply, Reconciliation, Executive) and drive timely, data‑based decisions.
Partner with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to develop a single, aligned operating plan.
Identify capacity, supply, demand, and inventory risks; develop scenarios and recommend trade‑offs and mitigation actions.
Present SIOP insights, risks, and recommendations to executive leadership with clear financial impact.
Establish and track key SIOP KPIs, driving continuous improvement in forecast accuracy, service levels, and inventory performance.
Lead SIOP process maturity, including governance, cadence, tools, and analytics enhancements.
Develop planning talent and strengthen organizational SIOP capabilities.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, planning, or operations roles.
5+ years leading SIOP / S&OP processes in a complex manufacturing or distribution environment.
Strong understanding of demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, and financial integration.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence executive stakeholders.
APICS or similar supply chain certification preferred at time of application or to be obtained post-hire.
Demonstrate strong people leadership skills and ability to build and grow high performing, cohesive teams in a matrix environment.
Strong problem-solving, communication and presentation skills are required.
