Responsibilities:

Support strategic priorities through service line planning, development, and operational oversight. This includes managing large-scale projects and teams, business planning and development, financial modeling, and optimizing patient throughput. The role oversees and monitors business development, budgeting, tracking new services, capital management, and fosters problem solving facilitation for operational issues. Collaborates with system leaders, physicians, and executive teams to drive clinical integration and organizational goals.

 

What you will do

  • Lead cross functional teams comprised of health system leadership, physicians, and other stakeholders to develop and manage large scale strategic and financial planning initiatives for service lines.
  • Develop and implement service line strategies to meet community and organizational needs.
  • Collaborate and support physician enterprise to identify needs and support clinical integration.
  • Foster problem solving to address operational issues and support organizational change initiatives.
  • Research, analyze, and explain healthcare services volume, utilization, market data, and referral patterns.
  • Create and implement goals, objectives, budgets, and operational plans for assigned areas.
  • Support staff and encourage appropriate authority over work processes.
  • Identify and develop new services and revenue streams as appropriate.
  • Provide effective management and guidance for all assigned areas.
  • Participate with governing body, management team, medical staff, and clinical leaders in decision-making structures and processes.
  • Integrate with finance to complete service line data collection and financial reporting.
  • Assist service line leadership in developing annual business plans and operating budgets, optimizing bed utilization, patient safety, and throughput.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree Hospital or Business Administration, Healthcare or related field Required
  • Master’s Degree Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field Preferred
  • 7 years Healthcare, project management, operations or finance Required and
  • 3 years Progressive leadership Required
  • Experience with project management and/or management consulting on Large scale projects Required
  • Experience with executive leaders, physician teams, and strategic vision/program plans. Required
  • Ability to translate vision and concepts into actionable business plans and implement to reach targeted results.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare financials, analytical tools, and the ability to perform or oversee analyses.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Skill and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to delegate responsibilities and follow through for effective completion.
  • Strong leadership, management, interpersonal, collaborative, and analytical skills.
  • Initiative and independent judgment.
  • If clinical degree applies: current licensure/certification in field Required
