    Description

AccordCare is seeking a Director of Revenue Cycle Management to lead billing, collections, and reimbursement operations for our non-skilled home care service line. This role owns the full revenue cycle for our private pay, managed care, and Medicaid waiver / consumer-directed home care business — a book of business that runs alongside, but is distinct from, the separate RCM function supporting our skilled, Medicare-certified home health services.

Reporting to the CFO, this is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can bring structure, accountability, and deep payer expertise to a growing multi-state platform.

    Responsibilities:

    • Own end-to-end revenue cycle performance for the non-skilled home care line of business across Georgia, Florida, and New York — spanning intake and authorization, billing, collections, and cash posting.
    • Lead and develop the home care billing and collections team, setting clear performance standards and holding the team accountable to them.
    • Drive the key RCM metrics that define a healthy revenue cycle: DSO, AR aging beyond 90 days, clean-claim rate, denial rate, and cash collections against expectation.
    • Manage billing and claims across the payer mix specific to non-skilled home care — private pay, Medicaid waiver and consumer-directed programs, managed long-term care (MLTC) plans, and other state-specific payer programs.
    • Serve as the primary RCM owner of the AlayaCare EMR for the home care service line, including visit verification, billing configuration, and claims-submission workflows.
    • Ensure accurate interfacing and reconciliation between AlayaCare and NetSuite (ERP) for revenue and cash posting.
    • Partner with intake, scheduling, and field operations to eliminate authorization gaps, visit-verification issues, and billing delays at the source.
    • Own denial management and appeals for home care payer requirements, identifying root causes and driving fixes upstream.
    • Maintain compliance with state-specific home care licensing, billing, and consumer-directed program requirements across GA, FL, and NY, including EVV (Electronic Visit Verification).
    • Partner with the CFO and FP&A on cash forecasting, reserve methodology, and monthly reporting related to home care revenue.
    • Coordinate with the home health RCM team on shared infrastructure and cross-training where the service lines intersect, while maintaining clear ownership of the non-skilled book of business.
    • Support system, workflow, and payer-contract improvements as the platform scales.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or a related field.
    • 10+ years of progressive revenue cycle management experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
    • Deep, hands-on experience in non-skilled home care billing and collections (private pay, Medicaid waiver / consumer-directed, managed long-term care).
    • Hands-on experience with the AlayaCare EMR.
    • Multi-state or multi-site RCM experience.
    • Strong working knowledge of EVV compliance requirements.
    • Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and hold a team accountable to clear performance metrics.

    Strongly Preferred:

    • Direct experience across the Georgia, Florida, and/or New York home care payer and regulatory environments.
    • Private equity-backed company experience.
    • Experience partnering with a NetSuite ERP environment.
    • A track record of building or turning around an RCM function through a period of transition.

    What We Offer:

    • Competitive base salary and performance-based bonus.
    • Comprehensive benefits package.
    • Ownership of a core revenue function at a growing, PE-backed healthcare platform.
    • Direct partnership with the CFO and executive leadership team.
