Position Specific Description

In this role, you will be responsible for the Regulatory oversight for Lone Star Transmissions assets, development projects, transmission businesses, and other priorities in the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) region. You will be the primary Lone Star representative responsible for the day-to-day interface with the ERCOT Independent System Operator, Public Utility Commission of Texas, other regulatory entities in Texas, other regional market participants, and federal, state and local trade associations. You will Support Lone Star code of conduct responsibilities and coordinate with the Compliance & Responsibility Organization (CRO). This role will also have a key role in developing legislative priorities and be an integral part of the advocacy team for Lone Star Transmission. This role will also be responsible for engaging with various market participants on the development of Lone Star Transmission projects. Job Overview

Leaders in this role are responsible for directing timely preparation of accounting, financial, operating and statistical data required to support regulatory filings before the Florida Public Service Commission (FPSC) and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and assure regulatory compliance.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manages the regulatory coordination activities with all business units and legal counsel
  • Responds to regulatory requests for information
  • Manages discovery served on the Company in proceedings
  • Supports legal activities for regulatory issues
  • Prepares regulatory filings at FPSC and FERC
  • Interfaces with key regulatory staff and interveners on regulatory issues
  • Coordinates with other utilities on regulatory issues
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Experience:12+ years
