The VA Regional Office provides a wide range of benefits and services to Veterans, their dependents, and beneficiaries. The Director leads the Regional Office and is responsible for daily oversight of various business and service areas, ensuring operations align with the VA andVBA mission, vision, policies, and guidelines. This position offers executive leadership and guidance to subordinate units while managing financial and human resources, including developing and presenting the Regional Office budget. The Director oversees performance measurement and improvement, workload management, program execution, and strategic planning, and directs ongoing quality assurance programs while implementing corrective actions as needed. Additionally, the Director engages with Veteran communities through outreach efforts, conventions, and other forums to evaluate and address the changing needs of a diverse customer base, ensuring continuous improvement in service delivery and program effectiveness.
