Spanner is an always-on database with virtually unlimited scale and strong consistency guarantees. It's a single database that unifies relational, graph, key-value, and search. As the database technology that powers most of the services on Google and GCP, Spanner is one of the most innovative and critical services for supporting high scale, business-critical workloads. The primary mission of our team is to enable businesses to deliver highly scalable, secure, performant, and reliable solutions without needing to handle any of the heavy-lifting associated with managing large scale distributed databases. As the Director of Product Management for Spanner, you will scale the Product Management organization and its leadership team to best support the fast growing databases business. You will be responsible for establishing customer-centric product strategy for Spanner, building thought leadership in this market segment, and driving go-to-market strategy and execution. You will execute across numerous proprietary and open source technologies to solve the most demanding problems for our customers.
