We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Life Cycle Management Leader to join our team at CareDx. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the entire product life cycle, from conception to end-of-life, focusing on delivering workflow-centric capabilities that improve patient experience, provider engagement, and operational efficiency.

This leader will translate strategy into actionable roadmaps, manage day-to-day product development, and partner closely with Engineering, Data Science, Commercial, UX, Regulatory/Legal, and Customer Success teams to release high-quality product enhancements on time.
The candidate is a strong operator and skilled at requirements definition, sprint execution, release management, and structured go-to-market support.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Execution & Delivery


Provide strong day-to-day leadership ensuring clarity of priorities, efficient decision-making, and structured execution across engineering, UX, and cross-functional partners; cultivate a high-trust culture anchored in accountability and delivery excellence.
Establish disciplined Voice-of-Customer (VOC) programs to continuously surface clinical workflow needs and patient/provider feedback, translating insights into requirements that drive adoption, satisfaction, and measurable clinical/business value.
Translate product strategy into detailed roadmaps, feature definitions, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Manage product backlog, sprint priorities, and cross-functional execution to deliver features on schedule
Partner with Engineering & UX to ensure delivery quality and modern product UI/UX standards
Drive release planning, UAT, launch readiness, and post-launch support
Oversee lifecycle improvements, including enhancements, maintenance, and sunsetting where needed

Cross-Functional Collaboration


Coordinate closely with Software, Data Science, Commercial, Marketing, Clinical, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment
Serve as the hands-on driver of requirements and execution across internal teams
Support field enablement with training, release notes, and collateral

Performance & Analytics


Define and track KPIs related to adoption, engagement, and workflow performance
Monitor analytics to inform product improvements; partner with Data Science to identify actionable insights

Customer & Market Interaction


Regularly engage with users (patients, clinicians, transplant coordinators) to capture workflow challenges and translate into requirements
Represent the product in customer conversations, implementations, VOC feedback loops

Financial Management


Work with finance to develop and oversee project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics.
Monitor product profitability and make product-related recommendations for cost optimization and revenue growth.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product life cycle management.

Compliance & Privacy


Partner with Regulatory, Legal, and Compliance to ensure privacy-by-design; support documentation and risk mitigation

Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Health Informatics).
15+ years of experience with minimum of 5 years of experience in product life cycle management in the healthcare or diagnostics industry with successful leadership of product launches.
Strong understanding of product development processes, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Robust leadership skills and demonstrated success inspiring, engaging and coaching team members cross-functionally.
Ability to work effectively in navigating the breadth of an organization and bringing all along in building strategy and executing on development and launch plans.
Impeccable project management and collaboration skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Understanding of various market research methodologies and successful track record of applying them to build and guide products.
Proficiency in product management software and tools.

Preferred Qualifications:


Advanced degree (Master's degree or PhD)
Experience in launching AI products in healthcare
Knowledge of healthcare industry trends and emerging markets and technologies

This is the anticipated base salary range in the United States. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include, but are not limited to, the type and length of experience within the job, the type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives and restricted stock units. CareDx is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.

$162,000 - $210,000 USD
