- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (B.S. Pharmacy) required.
- Active Texas Board of Pharmacy license.
- Certification in Aseptic Technique (or ability to obtain within one year of employment).
- Previous hospital pharmacy leadership or management experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, regulatory compliance, medication safety, and team leadership.
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations, medication preparation, dispensing, and inventory management.
- Supervise pharmacy staff and ensure compliance with state, federal, and hospital regulations.
- Verify prescriptions, monitor medication safety, and support optimal patient care.
- Manage pharmaceutical purchasing, storage, and distribution for hospital departments and offsite facilities.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and hospital leadership to improve clinical outcomes and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with Texas Board of Pharmacy standards and medication safety best practices.
