Director, People Business Partner


The Director, People Business Partner (PBP) position serves as a strategic consultant to the business, specifically Technology and Product, ensuring talent strategies and business objectives are aligned while also building key relationships with the management team. You will partner with other People Team functions, notably Talent Acquisition, Talent and Culture, and Total Rewards to implement best practices in the region and ensure seamless delivery of global processes. A successful PBP acts as a team member champion and change agent to help make an impact at Sabre! 


Responsibilities


+ Design and implement People Team strategies, programs, and projects across the region to achieve organizational goals. 


+ Build strong and influential relationships across Sabre business units based on respect and trust.


+ Assess and refine organization structures in partnership with leaders to optimize outcomes and ensure maximum efficiency. 


+ Partner with regional & global teams to give expert advice on talent, recruitment, compensation, grievances/complaints, and learning of the employees. 


+ Plan and execute organizational design strategies or actions needed across your client group. 


+ Work with respective teams to develop and implement the full range of workforce planning, succession planning, and talent management strategies supporting the delivery of business requirements. 


+ Acts as a member of the business representing the People Team in a strategic and consultative manner.


+ Review and analyze business and People Team metrics including data on retention and employee experience to recommend improvements. 


+ Provide advice and guidance to managers and employees on all People Team matters, embedding a performance-oriented culture and Sabre values. 


+ Collaborate with global leaders to identify opportunities for productivity improvement, via review of organizational structures, streamlining of business processes, continuous improvements, and performance management. 


+ Engage with Talent Acquisition to identify key talent for the business and the global team on Talent Management.  


+ Ensure that human resources practices are in compliance with local legal requirements.  


+ Ability to manage multiple demands simultaneously and meet aggressive deadlines.


+ Additional responsibilities as needed.


Preferred Education and Qualifications


+ Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.


+ Minimum 8 years of human resources experience, particularly proven experience working and influencing business stakeholders and senior leadership. 


+ Experience in technology, airline or travel industries is preferred. 


+ Good local labor law knowledge.


+ Ability to work within a matrix organization, supporting global initiatives across the region. 


+ Ability to influence and partner with different levels of the organization. 


+ Strong business and human resources acumen, including strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking and influencing skills. 


+ Skilled communicator with a strong ability to build relationships with senior leaders and a complex set of stakeholders to drive organizational change. 


+ Strong project management, organizational planning, time management skills, and attention to detail.


+ Ability to manage change within a complex, matrixed organization. 


+ Collaborative approach, a winning attitude, and passion.


+ Strong knowledge of Microsoft office, mainly PowerPoint, Excel.
