In collaboration with the Administrative Director,participatesin strategic planning for the Surgical Services including management of cost and finance; human resources; operations quality of care and clinical outcomes; patient,physicianand staff satisfaction; Responsible for compliance with regulatory agency standards related to Surgical Services and Anesthesia The Surgical Director is a key contributorinmotivating and engaging staff. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Education/Training/Experience: REQUIRED: Graduate of an RN School of Nursing Bachelor of Science in Nursing Excellent written and verbal communication skills A minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a medical/clinical practice environment. Current BLS. PREFERRED: A minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing management experience. License/Certifications/Special Requirements: Possesses current state RN license.
