Summary of Job Duties:

The Director of the YouthBuild BRIDGE Program provides executive leadership, fiscal oversight, compliance management, employer partnership coordination, advisory governance facilitation, and overall implementation supervision. During the four-month start-up period, the Project Director will devote 100% time/effort to finalizing curriculum sequencing, confirming Providence Park worksite readiness, formalizing apprenticeship articulation processes, establishing documentation and reporting systems, and convening the YouthBuild Advisory Council. During Years 1 and 2, the Project Director will devote 100% time/effort to coordinating all programmatic functions, including hiring and supervision of project staff, interdisciplinary case conferencing, performance monitoring aligned with DOL indicators, fiscal management, federal reporting, employer engagement strategy, and integration with UAPTC’s workforce infrastructure. In Year 3 (follow-up year), the Director of the YouthBuild will continue full-time oversight to ensure compliance fidelity, outcome tracking, retention monitoring, advisory governance continuity, and sustainability planning.

Responsibilities
Provides executive oversight, compliance management, and implementation leadership during launch and early cohort refinement.
Finalize curriculum sequencing and industry integration
Confirm Providence Park worksite readiness
Establish documentation and reporting systems
Convene YouthBuild BRIDGE Advisory Council
Facilitate interdisciplinary case conferencing
Monitor performance indicators and compliance
Oversee fiscal management and federal reporting


Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience with executive leadership, employee supervision, fiscal oversight, compliance management, employer partnership coordination, and advisory governance facilitation.
  • Experience in performance monitoring aligned with DOL indicators, fiscal management, federal reporting, and employer engagement strategy.
  • Experience working with and writing grants
  • Knowledge of construction industry, pre-apprenticeships, and registered apprenticeships
  • Experience with career and technical education pedagogy
  • Masters Degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree
