A Director of Women's Services is needed in Overland Park, KS to lead women's and children's services at a 340+ bed regional medical center that is home to a Level III NICU, a Maternal Fetal Health Center, an antepartum unit, a labor and delivery unit, and a Level II Trauma Center with an Accredited Stroke and Chest Pain Center.
The role. Reporting to the Associate Chief Nursing Officer, this director holds 24-hour accountability for nursing leadership across assigned women's services areas, including a unit that supports approximately 3,500 births per year. The director is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care across the service line while collaborating closely with physicians and interdisciplinary departments to address patient and family needs. A key aspect of the role is managing resources in a fiscally responsible manner to sustain high-acuity obstetric and neonatal programs.
