Director of Women's Services
Location: Overland Park, KS

Pay: $48.04/hr – $72.05/hr

We are seeking an experienced Director of Women's Services to provide strategic, operational, and clinical leadership for a high-volume Women's Services department. This role is responsible for overseeing Labor & Delivery, Antepartum, and Maternal-Fetal programs while ensuring exceptional patient outcomes, regulatory compliance, staff development, and operational excellence.
• Provide leadership and oversight for Women's Services operations, including Labor & Delivery, Antepartum, and Maternal-Fetal care.
• Drive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care delivery models.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing leaders, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Promote patient safety initiatives and evidence-based clinical practices.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards.
• Manage departmental budgets, resource allocation, and operational performance.
• Monitor staffing models, scheduling efficiency, and productivity metrics.
• Support recruitment, retention, mentoring, and professional development initiatives.
• Develop leadership capabilities among managers, supervisors, and nursing staff.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and patient-centered care.
• Analyze operational and quality metrics and implement performance improvement strategies.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Active RN License or Compact RN License.
• Ability to obtain and maintain BCLS Certification.
• Minimum 5 years of recent leadership experience as a Manager or Director in a large hospital setting.
• Direct leadership experience supporting a Women's Services program with at least 3,500 annual births.
• Strong knowledge of maternal-child health operations, quality improvement, staffing, and budgeting.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Women's Services specialty certification.
• Director-level Women's Services leadership experience.
• Experience in Labor & Delivery, Antepartum, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, and NICU environments.
• Experience managing high-acuity maternal-child programs.
