Are you a collaborative leader who thrives in fast-paced, service-oriented environments and enjoys building strong teams? Judson Park is seeking a Director of Wellness to lead our Assisted Living and Memory Support teams while supporting Independent Living residents.

In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll help shape the resident experience by leading and developing multidisciplinary teams, partnering across departments, and ensuring residents receive exceptional care and support every day. You’ll oversee day-to-day wellness operations, staffing, compliance, and customer service while fostering a culture centered on compassion, accountability, and teamwork.

While experience in senior living or healthcare is valued, we are also open to leaders from other regulated or customer-focused industries with strong operational leadership experience in a 24/7 environment.

Judson Park has also been recognized by U.S. News & World Report in its inaugural Best Senior Living Awards, reflecting our commitment to providing outstanding care and service.

Under limited supervision, the Director of Wellness identifies and monitors needs of residents primarily in Assisted Living and Memory Support departments coordinating with the Wellness Department, Health Center, and Resident Review Committee, while maintaining both departments in regulatory compliance by providing administrative oversight of staff.

A day in the life might include:

  • Leading and supporting a team of 20–30 associates across varying roles and schedules in a 24/7 environment.
  • Carrying out supervisory responsibilities either directly or through subordinate managers in accordance with policies and applicable laws.
  • Interviewing, hiring, training, coaching, and developing associates while fostering accountability and engagement.
  • Partnering collaboratively with community leadership and cross-functional departments to support operational and resident goals.
  • Assisting with departmental budgeting, labor management, and operational planning.
  • Supporting regulatory compliance efforts and helping maintain community standards and documentation requirements.
  • Conducting routine rounds of the community and participating in resident assessments to help identify needs and changes in condition.
  • Meeting with residents and families to address concerns, provide service recovery, and support a positive resident experience.
  • Assisting with the marketing of accommodations and services to prospective residents and families.
  • Assisting in the development of Resident Service Plans and participating in resident and family meetings.

To be successful in this role, you would have:

  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing teams in a healthcare, senior living, hospitality, customer service, or other fast-paced operational environment.
  • Experience hiring, coaching, and developing team members in a 24/7 operation preferred.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and team members.
  • Experience collaborating across departments and supporting operational goals, including staffing, budgeting, or compliance initiatives preferred.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment or with compliance standards preferred.
  • Prior senior living or healthcare experience preferred, but not required.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Washington State preferred, but not required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
