Job Summary

Provides leadership and strategic direction for athletic ticket office including customer service, staff, operations and systems in collaboration with athletic departments. Develops and implements promotional strategies and partnerships.

Essential Functions

• Develops, designs and implements long- and short-range goals and objectives. Creates financial and qualitative data reports to communicate program and service status and progress.
• Plans and implements improvements to ticket sales processing, renewals, and distribution. Oversees system and service projects and assignments.
• Establishes and oversees staff adherence to procedures for securing and processing ticket sales. Ensures compliance with all applicable University, association, and governmental rules and regulations.
• Develops, implements and evaluates ticket sales and promotional programs and metrics that align with facility goals and objectives. Utilizes data to develop new or revise current programs and services.
• Develops program budget and monitors and adjusts plan as resource requirements change.

Job Duties

  • Oversee all ticketing operations for events, ensuring smooth entry, accurate sales, and a top-tier fan experience
  • Direct student and temporary staff, making sure everyone knows their role and delivers under pressure
  • Take ticketing goals from concept to execution, driving attendance and maximizing revenue opportunities
  • Handle reporting, reconciliation, and financial tracking with precision (no surprises, no gaps)
  • Operate independently, troubleshoot in real time, and make decisions that keep everything moving forward
  • Partner with internal teams to align ticketing efforts with broader event and fan engagement strategies

Required Education and Experience:

  • 60 hours of college coursework in business administration, education, or applied science
  • Five (5) years of experience in general office, clerical, administrative support or related field, with two (2) years of responsible leadership experience. Every 30 hours of college coursework beyond 60 hours can be substituted for one (1) year of experience, up to 120 hours.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Deep understanding of revenue generation practices.
  • Ability to produce & analyze financial reports.
  • Skills in collaboration with various constituents.
  • Knowledge of revenue/ticketing systems & technology.
  • Ability to work with fluctuating schedule including nights and weekends.
  • Ability to stay in one position for long periods of time.
  • Knowledge of how to optimize time management for competing priorities.
  • Ability to handle difficult conversations and situations when necessary.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Highly organized and reliable with great follow up and follow through.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Paciolan software knowledge or direct experience in.
  • Knowledge of other ticketing systems if no direct experience in Paciolan.
