Our client is a rapidly growing aerospace and advanced manufacturing company developing next-generation hardware systems that support critical commercial and government missions.

Following significant recent funding and major production expansion efforts, they are building the infrastructure necessary to scale from low-volume production to high-rate manufacturing.

As they enter their next phase of growth, we are seeking a Director of Supply Chain to lead the transformation of their purchasing, planning, inventory, sourcing, and supplier management functions.

Job Details

What You'll Do:
Lead end-to-end supply chain operations, including sourcing, procurement, planning, inventory management, and supplier development
Establish scalable operating models and organizational structure
Develop KPIs, metrics, and performance management systems
Build strategic supplier partnerships
Drive supplier quality, delivery, and cost improvements
Manage supply chain risk, including obsolescence, sole-source dependencies, and geopolitical impacts
Partner with engineering and manufacturing teams to support production schedules
Lead make-vs-buy decisions and vertical integration initiatives
Implement best practices around supplier onboarding, inventory controls, and production planning
Build and mentor a high-performing supply chain organization

What We're Looking For:
Required:
10+ years of supply chain experience
5+ years leading supply chain organizations
Experience managing managers
Manufacturing background
Procurement and strategic sourcing expertise
Production planning / MRP experience
Inventory management expertise
Supplier development experience
KPI development and operational leadership
Cross-functional leadership with Engineering and Manufacturing

Preferred Experience with:
Aerospace
Satellites
Defense
Complex electromechanical hardware
AS9100 environments
ITAR-regulated environments
ERP implementation experience
Supply chain transformation experience
Startup or scaling company experience
