The Director of Supply Chain leads the strategic direction, performance, and transformation of Seadrill's global supply chain, with accountability for a spend exceeding $1.5B. They define and execute an integrated supply chain strategy aligned to current priorities, including cost discipline, market competitiveness, and internal embeddedness, while positioning the function for future success, digital enablement, and agility . The role oversees all supply chain activities, including strategic sourcing, supplier partnership and performance, risk management, logistics and compliance, inventory optimization, procurement, and continuous improvement. They strengthen supplier performance, enhance transparency, and embed robust risk practices to ensure safe, reliable, and uninterrupted operations. In partnership with Operations, Finance, and technical teams, the Director drives total cost of ownership, demand alignment, and rig readiness, while elevating commercial rigor and optimizing the supplier base.
Looking ahead, the role leads the transformation of the function through standardization, data-driven decision-making, and digital tools to enhance visibility, forecasting, and procurement efficiency, ensuring an agile, scalable and compliant global supply chain organization.

Minimum Requirements
15+ years of progressive Supply Chain experience, including global or multi-regional leadership
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
Proven experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, and supplier management
Strong negotiation and contract management experience
Track record of cost optimization and operational improvement
Experience with ERP systems and cross-functional stakeholder leadership
Understanding of global supply chain risk, compliance, and governance
