Job Title: Director of Student Services
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the writing, submission, and management of federal grants (including IDEA and Title programs) to maximize district resources.
- Ensure fiscal compliance and strict budget management for all special education programming and federal allocations.
- Design, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive Professional Development (PD) plan aligned with district strategic goals and data-identified needs.
- Act as the Corporation Testing Coordinator (CTC), managing the logistics, security, training, and integrity of all state-mandated and district-wide assessments.
- Lead the collection, analysis, and reporting of student data to identify achievement gaps and drive district-wide curriculum and intervention decisions.
- Collaborate with building principals and district leadership to integrate student support services seamlessly into general education environments.
- Serve as the district's Special Education Director, ensuring strict compliance with IDEA, Section 504, and state regulations while overseeing IEP development and student placements.
Qualifications:
- Valid Indiana administrative license
- Master's degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience; minimum of 2 years of administrative experience; special education teaching experience preferred; district administrative experience preferred.
- Pass the required Expanded Criminal History Check and Expanded CPS Check
Contract Type: Certified Administration, 220-day administrative contract
Salary: Commensurate with experience
