Organization Information Kentucky School for the Blind (KSB) is part of the Kentucky Department of Education, Office of Special Education and Early Learning, Division of State Schools. KSB helps students who are blind and visually impaired to develop their talents, their skills, and attitudes and thus become confident, competent, and independent adults. After graduation, many students go on to college or technical training schools; others go immediately into full-time jobs. The Director of Student Life is responsible for maintaining the coordination of services in accordance with school policies and procedures and maintaining quality standards of childcare and instruction in the dormitories. This is a second shift position, with work hours being 3:30 pm to 11:30 pm.
