    Clarkson College is currently seeking a Director of Student Affairs.This position provides leadership and oversight for the following areas: Counseling services, Testing Center, Library, Academic Success, Student Emergency Fund, Residence Life, Student Senate and serves as the Title IX Investigator. The Director of Student Affairs will foster student engagement and support to enhance student success and increase retention. Coordinate and implement divisional initiatives such as staff development, new student experiences, assessment, strategic planning, and other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Enrollment and Retention. Manage several software applications within the department as well as all applicable vendor contracts. Providing daily management of personnel throughout the student life and academic success department is essential.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Masters degree in healthcare, psychology, education, sociology, communication, leadership, student affairs, leadership, or other related field required.
    • Minimum 2 years experience in higher education required.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
    • Excellent interpersonal, critical thinking, and organizational skills required.
    • Minimum 2 years supervisory experience required.
    • Minimum one year of experience working directly with college students required.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience working with student support services on a college campus preferred.
