SUMMARY
The Director of Student Accounts is responsible for the management and coordination of student billing, the collection and custody of financial receipts related to the accounts receivable function, and the disbursement and receipt of funds to students' accounts. The Director provides leadership to the Student Accounts staff performing billing functions, develops procedures that promote student financial responsibility and support the financial health of the institution, and assists in setting priorities and promoting the overall vision of the Enrollment Services Center. This position also counsels students and families regarding accounts receivable and helps ensure students understand their financial obligations, as well as the financial resources and options available to them.
This position is a leadership role requiring high integrity, attention to detail, strong supervisory skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage complex processes in a student-centered and compliance-driven environment.
