Director of Strategy

Location: Atlanta, GA

Classic Collision is one of the largest collision repair companies in the country, with over 360 locations and $1B+ in revenue. We are majority owned by TPG Capital and are driving a significant operational and strategic transformation. The business is analytically complex, commercially driven, and fast paced.

We are building a small, high-caliber strategy function. The Director, Strategy is the first hire into that function and will work directly with the CSO and have regular exposure to the CEO and broader executive team. This is not a supporting role - it is a seat at the table on the most important strategic questions the business is navigating.

What youll work on

This role sits at the intersection of corporate strategy, financial analysis, and cross-functional project execution. On any given week, you might be sizing a commercial opportunity, synthesizing industry benchmarking data to inform a board presentation, pressure-testing an investment thesis, or helping design and track a transformation initiative. The work is varied by design.

Specific areas of focus include:

  • Revenue and commercial strategy (DRP relationships, demand generation, and revenue capture)
  • Corporate strategy development and annual strategic planning
  • Competitive intelligence and industry analysis (insurance carriers, OEMs, competitors)
  • M&A evaluation and integration support, alongside the Corp Dev team
  • Cross-functional project leadership on priority initiatives
  • Board and investor communications

What were looking for

  • 4-7 years of experience in private equity, management consulting, or investment banking with a meaningful strategy/transaction component
  • Strong financial modeling skills and comfort with ambiguous, data-rich problems
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication - you will be presenting to senior audiences regularly
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously without losing rigor on any of them
  • Low ego, high output orientation - this is a build environment, not a polish environment

MBA a plus but not required if the underlying experience is strong.
