Director of Strategic Partnerships

CBIZ Talent Solutions is assisting our client in their search for a Director of Strategic Partnerships.

Position Overview

The Director, Strategic Partnerships will be responsible for identifying, managing and overseeing vendors that are used broadly across our franchisee population. This role will help promote and ensure a positive experience for franchisees when it comes to procuring widely used goods and services through vendor accountability and preferred vendor agreements that drive financial success for both franchisees as well as corporate.

Essential Responsibilities

• Identify key vendors that would drive value for the franchisees on a large scale based on common goods and services being purchased across the system
• Evaluate external vendors and negotiate preferred vendor relationships including agreements that contain a rebate structure to benefit the corporate financial position
• Hold vendors accountable through quality assurance and resolving concerns/issues that arise from franchisees
• Communicate and keep franchisees as well as the corporate team informed of all approved vendors and new partnerships that are formed
• Coordinate information and training sessions between strategic partners and franchisees to promote adoption across the system
• Promote approved vendors to drive consistency and showcase value of being part of the company franchise system

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related business field
• 7-10 years of experience in a procurement type role
• Franchise industry experience preferred
• Experience negotiating agreements with external vendors
• Attention to detail of the highest degree
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (especially Excel)

Travel

• This role will require limited travel to corporate events that help promote engagement and learning for our corporate team members.
