A senior-level Director of Strategic Marketing opportunity is available in Nashville, TN, supporting a corporate B2B group purchasing organization (GPO) focused on the healthcare supply chain sector.

The role. Reporting into a corporate marketing function, the Director of Strategic Marketing is responsible for developing and executing annual strategic marketing plans and go-to-market tactics designed to drive membership growth and achieve financial objectives. The role centers on creating impactful promotions and collateral that serve both existing members and prospective members, while shaping brand identity and delivering resources that deepen member engagement. The Director will analyze all aspects of the business to proactively identify new opportunities, new customer segments, and strategies for growing adherence among current members — including cross-selling initiatives and programs that support lead generation and nurture prospects through the funnel. This position requires close collaboration with internal marketing teams and GPO business leaders, demanding both strategic vision and strong business copywriting skills across omni-channel marketing approaches.

What we're looking for.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and/or Marketing Communications required
  • Master's degree in marketing, communications, business and/or healthcare preferred
  • 10+ years of advanced marketing experience relevant to the assigned product/business or service
  • In-depth understanding of marketing, the GPO industry, and healthcare supply chain
  • Proven track record in one or more of the following: Healthcare, B2B, or GPO marketing
  • Experienced and effective business copywriter with excellent PowerPoint and presentation skills
  • Sound analytical skills with the ability to interpret, analyze, and make recommendations based on trends, insights, and reports
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build credibility and engage cross-functional teams
  • Experienced in project management with a high degree of organization, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
