Here''s what you''ll do during a typical day:

  • Lead safety and security operations: Oversee all safety and security functions, including ensuring OSHA compliance, promoting safe work practices, and managing department systems, budgets, and policies.
  • Oversee safety training: Lead the coordination and administration of safety training programs, including CPR, fire and life safety, workplace violence prevention, and driver training
  • Ensure property safety: Direct security patrols of hotel premises to identify and address safety risks, security threats, and undesirable conditions
  • Lead investigations: Oversee inquiries into accidents, thefts, property loss, and unlawful activities
  • Direct emergency responses: Lead responses to emergencies, including fires, medical incidents, and security threats
  • Liaise with law enforcement: Serve as the primary contact for federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies on security-related matters
  • Cultivate a high-performing team: Drive engagement and retention through performance management, professional development, and recognition programs
