Purpose of Position

The Director of School Operations is responsible for excellence in the implementation of practices and procedures related to students in order to ensure effective instructional delivery and positive school culture. The Director of School Operations is responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of the District''s school operational policies and procedures to ensure that all students graduate from high school prepared to continue their education or enter the workforce.

Minimum Training and Experience Required to Perform Essential Job Functions

• Principal license (5051) required
• Master''s Degree in Education required, doctorate preferred
• Wisconsin Certification as Superintendent (5003) and Director of Instruction (5010) preferred
• Minimum of three (3) years related experience as a district-level director preferred
• Related experience as trainer, facilitator or supervisor preferred
• Experience working cross-culturally and/or commitment to work toward improving one''s own cultural competence, i.e. valuing difference/diversity, recognizing personal limitations in one''s skills and expertise and having the desire to learn in these areas
