Director of Sales - Process Controls
The Director of Sales - Process Controls will lead the Process Controls division"s sales organization to drive revenue growth across engineering projects, electrical installations, UL panel fabrication, and related process controls services. This executive role oversees a growing sales team, sets the strategic direction for nationwide business development, and coordinates sales efforts across all locations to ensure consistent execution of the company's growth strategy.
Responsibilities:
* Own the company-wide sales pipeline, forecasting process, and revenue reporting; deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual projections to senior leadership
* Set clear sales targets and account assignments; conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and individual development plans to drive accountability and results
* Develop and own the company's sales strategy for process controls, including target market segmentation, key account identification, pricing strategy, and go-to-market plans across engineering, installation, and panel shop services
* Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive intelligence to refine strategy, identify growth opportunities, and mitigate risks to booked revenue
Required Skills & Experience:
* Must have 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in industrial automation, process controls, electrical contracting, or system integration, with proven success building and leading sales teams
* Must have 5+ years in a Director/VP-level sales role driving multimillion-dollar revenue growth in B2B industrial markets
* Must be available to work Monday to Friday from 8am to 4:30pm
* Must be able to travel locally and throughout the United States
Preferred Skills & Experience:
* Experience leading sales for an industrial electrical contractor, EPC, system integrator, or OEM serving packaging, power generation, Food & Beverage, pharma, chemical industries
* Existing network of contacts among plant executives, engineering leaders, and OEM/GC partners in Process Controls business units target verticalsS
