Director of Sales

Cross Keys Village – The Brethren Home Community (CKV) is seeking a motivated and strategic sales leader who is committed to advancing our mission, vision, and values as a key member of our team. Job Description:

As the Director of Salesyour scope of responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Sales Strategy & Performance
  • Develop and manage the annual sales and occupancy plan to meet growth and financial goals.
  • Analyze market trends, demographics, and competitive data to inform strategy.
  • Lead presales and engagement efforts for expansions and new product launches.
  • Maintain a data‑driven approach using CRM analytics to monitor pipeline, conversion rates, and performance metrics.
  • Track and report key performance indicators for executive leadership and the Board.
  • Conduct annual competitor analyses, including pricing, amenities, contract options, and marketing materials.
  • Manage the annual sales budget, including staffing, events, and marketing collaboration costs.

Team Leadership

  • Supervise, coach, and motivate the retirement counselor team to achieve occupancy goals.
  • Serve as a part‑time selling director to support team efforts.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and mission alignment.
  • Conduct regular one‑on‑one meetings, trainings, role‑playing sessions, and pipeline reviews.
  • Partner with Human Resources on recruiting, onboarding, and developing high‑performing sales professionals.

Prospect Experience & Sales Operations

  • Oversee all stages of the prospect journey—from inquiry to move‑in.
  • Ensure consistent, accurate use of CRM for lead tracking and reporting.
  • Monitor and refine sales processes to improve efficiency and conversion.
  • Model a consultative, relationship‑based sales approach grounded in trust and education.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless move‑ins and transitions.

Marketing & Communications Collaboration

  • Partner with the Director of Strategic Communications and Brand Management to align messaging, campaigns, and outreach.
  • Support marketing efforts, events, and lead‑generation activities.
  • Assist with content development for the website, blog, social media, and internal communications related to residential living.
  • Organize and oversee sales‑focused events, ensuring effective follow‑up and prospect engagement.

Product & Design Oversight

  • Review annual renovation scopes for residential styles to align with market expectations.
  • Maintain and update design room finish selections to ensure they remain current and on trend.

Community Engagement

  • Represent CKV at community events, presentations, and networking opportunities to increase awareness and referrals.



Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Health Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong technical, analytical, communication, and long‑range planning skills.
  • Understanding of senior living, healthcare, and/or nonprofit management.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, data‑driven sales management, and mass‑email platforms.
