Director of Sales - Hunter Years of Experience: 10+ years of minimum experience Location (Address 1): Irving, TX / Oak Brook, IL / Iselin, NJ / San Jose, CA / Irvine, CA Onsite Flexibility (Remote %): 2 days to work from end clients office at above locations Perm Role Client is hiring a Retail Sales Hunter to drive net-new logo acquisition across North America. This role is responsible for: Building enterprise retail pipeline from scratch Leading Account-Based Marketing (ABM) led outreach in targeted Named Accounts Managing and coaching an SDR/BDR to generate qualified meetings Closing large digital transformation, AI, Commerce, Unified Commerce and Cloud deals This is not an account management role. This is a frontline, strategic, enterprise hunter position. What You Will Own Net-New Logo Growth Prospect, qualify, and win enterprise retail accounts. Develop and execute territory strategy using ABM frameworks. Create multi-threaded CXO engagement plans (CIO, CDO, CTO, CMO, VP Digital, VP Stores). Sales Strategy & ABM Leadership Build named account plans aligned to retail sub-verticals (Specialty, Grocery, Fashion, Big Box, DTC). Design targeted outreach campaigns in collaboration with marketing. Orchestrate high-impact executive meetings via SDR/BDR support. Leverage retail industry events (NRF, Shoptalk, Groceryshop, Dreamforce, Oracle events) for networking and deal acceleration. Team Orchestration Manage and mentor a Business Development/SDR resource to drive meeting generation. Partner with: Onsite Technical Consultants Offshore Presales & Solution Architects Delivery leadership Alliance/Partner teams (Salesforce Commerce Cloud, commercetools, Oracle Retail, Adobe, Cloud hyperscalers) Lead deal shaping workshops and proposal strategy. Solution-Led Enterprise Selling Sell across Aspires Retail portfolio: Digital Commerce & Composable Commerce Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) commercetools Adobe Commerce Unified Commerce & Store Systems Oracle Retail (Xstore, Merchandising) POS & Store modernization Retail AI Solutions AI-powered personalization Intelligent shopping assistants Demand forecasting & predictive analytics AI-led merchandising optimization Cloud & Digital Transformation Cloud migration & modernization Microservices & API-led transformation Data & analytics platforms Must be able to sell both project-based transformation and managed services engagements. Required Experience 10+ years selling IT services / digital transformation 10+ years within Retail industry ecosystem Proven enterprise hunter with consistent quota overachievement Experience selling services around: SFCC / commercetools / Adobe Commerce Oracle Retail / Store Systems Omnichannel / Unified Commerce programs Cloud transformation & modernization AI / Analytics solutions Demonstrated experience managing SDR/BDR motion Strong ABM execution experience Experience coordinating offshore delivery & global teams Critical Competencies Hunter mentality self-driven pipeline creator Enterprise deal orchestration capability ABM strategist Executive presence & C-level influence Retail domain fluency (end-to-end value chain understanding) Strong collaboration across onsite/offshore matrix teams Ability to leverage industry events strategically for pipeline acceleration Forecasting rigor & CRM discipline Metasys Technologies is an equal opportunity employer.
