Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Sales to lead the sales efforts at the upscale all-suite Embassy Suites Dallas Love Field. This leadership role is responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives, relationship building, market analysis, and team leadership. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, excels in business development, and has a proven background in hotel sales management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve hotel revenue goals across all market segments
  • Lead proactive sales efforts for corporate accounts, group business, SMERF, government, and local negotiated rate accounts
  • Manage and mentor the sales team to maximize performance and productivity
  • Conduct outside sales calls, site tours, networking events, and client meetings
  • Build strong relationships with local businesses, travel planners, and event organizers
  • Collaborate with hotel leadership to forecast revenue, manage budgets, and identify market opportunities
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and occupancy reports to adjust sales strategies
  • Work closely with revenue management and operations teams to ensure guest satisfaction and successful event execution
  • Maintain accurate sales activity and account information within CRM systems
  • Represent the hotel professionally within the local community and hospitality industry

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of hotel sales leadership experience preferred
  • Previous Hilton brand experience strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of group sales, corporate travel, and revenue management
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed revenue goals
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities
  • Proficiency with hotel sales systems and Microsoft Office
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
