The Director of Revenue Operations will serve as a key partner to executive leadership across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and Operations. This individual will help drive visibility, accountability, forecasting accuracy, operational rigor, and scalable GTM processes across a multi-entity environment.

This is not a purely strategic oversight role. We are looking for someone who is AI minded and equally comfortable building reporting dashboards, refining CRM workflows, analyzing pipeline health, improving forecasting methodologies, and helping operationalize growth initiatives across multiple businesses.

The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and enjoys building structure within complexity. Experience supporting PE-backed organizations, multi-entity businesses, SaaS, MSPs, IT services, or acquisition-heavy environments is highly preferred.

What Success Looks Like
  • Establishing scalable and standardized revenue operations processes across Shield and ShieldCos
  • Improving pipeline visibility, forecasting accuracy, and KPI accountability across GTM teams
  • Building executive-level reporting and dashboards that drive decision-making
  • Helping integrate newly acquired companies into standardized reporting and operational frameworks
  • Driving alignment across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and leadership teams
  • Identifying operational inefficiencies and implementing scalable solutions
  • Supporting revenue growth initiatives through data-driven insights and process optimization
  • Serving as a trusted operational partner to executive leadership

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the overall Revenue Operations function across Shield and portfolio companies
  • Build and maintain forecasting models, pipeline reporting, revenue analytics, and KPI dashboards
  • Develop scalable GTM processes spanning lead management, pipeline progression, customer lifecycle management, and reporting
  • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and executive leadership on operational planning and business performance analysis
  • Support CRM optimization, workflow automation, territory planning, and data integrity initiatives
  • Drive operational integration efforts for newly acquired businesses
  • Create executive-ready reporting and business reviews for leadership stakeholders
  • Analyze revenue trends, conversion metrics, and operational performance to identify growth opportunities
  • Help define and standardize sales processes, reporting structures, and operational best practices across entities
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve tooling, systems alignment, and overall GTM efficiency

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • 7+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, GTM Strategy, Business Operations, or related operational leadership roles
  • Experience supporting high-growth SaaS, MSP, IT services, technology, or PE-backed organizations strongly preferred
  • Strong experience with CRM systems, reporting tools, forecasting, and revenue analytics
  • Demonstrated ability to build processes and operational frameworks in evolving environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights
  • Experience working cross-functionally with executive leadership and multiple business units
  • Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience supporting acquisitions, integrations, or multi-entity operations is highly preferred

Additional Details

  • As-needed in-office collaboration will be encouraged for candidates located in the NYC metro area
  • Quarterly travel is expected, along with additional travel as business needs require
